Dr. Jason Holland is a clinical psychologist expert witness based in Tennessee who provides forensic evaluation and legal consulting services to attorneys in Tennessee, PSYPACT states, and select other jurisdictions. He conducts independent medical evaluations (IMEs) and independent psychological evaluations in civil and criminal matters, including cases involving alleged negligence, personal injury, wrongful death, and malpractice. His work also includes capacity evaluations (in conservatorship or decision-making disputes), assessments of dangerousness or risk of harm to self or others, and mental health–related disability evaluations.
Dr. Holland is licensed as a psychologist in Tennessee and holds an active PSYPACT e-passport, allowing him to provide virtual forensic evaluations and consultations in most states. Competency to Stand Trial & Criminal Forensic Evaluation
Evaluations of a defendant’s competency to stand trial, including understanding of charges, courtroom roles, penalties, and ability to assist counsel, as well as related criminal forensic questions such as mental state at the time of the alleged offense when requested.
Capacity, Risk, and Disability Evaluations (IME)
Capacity evaluations in conservatorship, guardianship, and decision-making disputes; assessments of dangerousness or risk of harm to self or others; and mental health–related disability evaluations, often conducted as independent medical evaluations (IMEs) or independent psychological evaluations.
